# Get Started with the NBA Remuneration Portal Today

> Create your account, verify your NBA enrollment number, complete KYC setup, and submit your first property deal on the NBA Remuneration Portal.

Getting started with the NBA Remuneration Portal takes less than 15 minutes. You will create an account, confirm your identity as an NBA Lagos lawyer, set up your profile, and then be ready to create property deals. Follow the steps below from start to finish.

  Have your NBA Enrollment Number (SCN) ready before you begin. You will need it during sign-up to verify your membership. If you are unsure of your SCN, check your NBA membership certificate or contact your branch directly.

  <Step title="Create your account">
    Go to the sign-up page and enter your **email address** and a **password**. Submit the form to create your account.

    Once you submit, the portal sends a verification code to the email address you provided.

  <Step title="Verify your email">
    Open the verification email in your inbox and copy the code. Enter it on the email verification screen to confirm your address.

    If the email does not arrive within a few minutes, check your spam or junk folder. You can request a new code from the same screen.

  <Step title="Look up your NBA Enrollment Number">
    Enter your **NBA Enrollment Number (SCN)** to confirm you are an active NBA Lagos member. The portal looks up your SCN in the NBA registry and validates your membership status before proceeding.

    If your SCN lookup fails, verify that you are entering the correct number and that your NBA Lagos membership is active.

  <Step title="Complete KYC — select your branch and link your bank account">
    After SCN verification, you are redirected to the KYC setup screen. You must complete two actions before you can create deals:

    1. **Select your NBA Lagos branch** — choose from Ikorodu, Ikeja, Lagos, Badagry, Surulere, Eti Osa, Epe, or Others.
    2. **Link your bank account** — select your bank from the dropdown and enter your 10-digit account number. The portal resolves your account name automatically via Paystack.

  <Step title="Create your first deal">
    Once KYC is complete, you can create property deals. Navigate to the **Deals** section and follow the guided six-step deal creation flow to submit your first transaction.

    The portal calculates your NBA professional fee and applicable administrative fee automatically based on the property value you enter.

After completing these steps, your account is fully set up and ready to use. Disbursements for processed deals will settle to the bank account you linked during KYC.
