Transactions represent individual payment records tied to your deals. Each time a payment is initiated or processed against a deal — whether a full payment or a single installment — the portal creates a transaction record. The Transactions page gives you a consolidated view of all payment activity across every deal on your account, making it straightforward to track what has been paid, what is still pending, and where a payment may have encountered a problem.

Transaction statuses

Every transaction has a payment status that reflects the current state of that payment attempt.
StatusMeaning
PENDINGThe payment has been initiated but processing has not yet begun.
PROCESSINGThe payment is actively being processed by the payment gateway.
COMPLETEDThe payment was successful and the amount has been confirmed.
FAILEDThe payment attempt was unsuccessful. You may need to retry or contact support.
CANCELLEDThe transaction was cancelled before processing completed.

Property types

Each transaction is associated with a property type, inherited from the deal it belongs to.
  • RESIDENTIAL — residential properties such as houses, flats, and apartments
  • COMMERCIAL — commercial properties including offices, retail units, and mixed-use buildings
  • INDUSTRIAL — industrial properties such as warehouses, factories, and logistics facilities

Searching and filtering transactions

Use the search bar at the top of the Transactions page to find a specific transaction. You can search by:
  • Payee or client name
  • Transaction reference number
  • Amount
  • Payment status
The search filters results in real time. Use the pagination controls at the bottom of the list to move between pages when you have a large number of records.

Transaction detail fields

Select any transaction from the list to open its detail view. The detail page shows:
  • Amount — the value of this transaction in Naira (₦)
  • Transaction reference — the unique reference number for this payment, used for reconciliation
  • Property type — whether the deal property is residential, commercial, or industrial
  • Date — the date and time the transaction was recorded
  • Installment progress — for installment deals, how many installments have been paid against the total (for example, 2 of 4)
  • Deal total paid — the cumulative amount paid against the parent deal across all transactions
Transaction certificates are only available once the parent deal reaches APPROVED status — meaning all installments are paid and the deal is fully complete. You can download a certificate from the deal detail page or directly from the transaction detail view once it is available.
